Cults Parish Church - Organist and Choirmaster

Cults Parish Church, Aberdeen seeks to appoint an experienced and appropriately qualified organist and choirmaster to accompany worship and enhance music within the life of our Church.

The church is equipped with a well-maintained 1931 Rushworth and Dreaper, two manual and pedal organ. In addition, there is a Waldstein Baby Grand Piano.

You would be expected to direct our enthusiastic and friendly mixed choir which currently holds its practice on a Thursday evening. A small orchestra contributes to worship on the first Sunday of the month. In addition to the 10:30 Sunday service there is a requirement to play at church funerals and weddings.

One Sunday service (11.00 am) plus occasional special services etc

Weekly choir practice (October to April)

Balmedie House Care Home - Various Positions

Balmedie House is a Crossreach facility supporting the elderly through both residential stay and daycare. Located in the village of Balmedie, 6 miles north of Aberdeen, we are seeking to recruit staff who can help us continue to offer practical Christian caring in this well regarded and highly commended facility.

At the moment we have vacancies for three care workers, working 35 hours over five days.Day shift and late shifts are available, and some weekend working is required.
